Bridal henna typically takes 3-5 hours; your henna design should complement your individual style and personality. It is important to consider how much coverage you would like and the style of henna you prefer. The very best way to communicate your preferences is to send us pictures; one way is to create a Pinterest board, pin images, include notes and email us the link. Once you have shared your inspirations with us, we will hand draw an original henna pattern and present it to you prior to your appointment. And if you just don’t know, don’t worry, allow us to make some suggestions. We are here to make sure you have the most enjoyable, stress-free bridal experience.
Henna parties are a long standing tradition. Intricate patterns are applied to the bride and simpler patterns are applied to all members of her bridal party. Mehndi parties are a joyful occasion; the bridesmaids entertain the bride by bringing her treats, singing, dancing and sharing the secrets of a happy marriage. We offer our mehndi services to small henna parties usually held at a private residence as well as at large extravagant events where we can be hired to entertain guests. Henna parties are normally booked by the hour (with a 2 hour booking minimum) but if those attending choose to have detailed patterns applied we will instead charge per design.
Event & Private Hire
Henna is a statement of celebration. No matter what you are celebrating whether it is a birthday, an engagement, an anniversary, a graduation, Diwali or Eid – the decorative designs of henna enhance the beauty of every occasion. Henna can be the greatest accessory, perfectly tying together your styling for an event or henna can stun, turn heads and set you apart on a big day. We offer our services to individuals preparing for a celebration as well as at parties to entertain guests.
There is no better way to unite a diverse workforce than through beauty and art. Henna is simply beautiful and will enrich any corporate event. We offer our corporate services to commercial events such as product launches, fundraisers, employee work parties and company milestone celebrations. If an employer wishes they can pre-approve a selection of simple designs for their employees to choose from and have applied. Small designs take roughly 10 minutes to apply and dry.
Henna is a joyful, relaxing experience and you definitely don’t need to have a reason to have your henna done. We take private bookings for both individuals and groups. Designs can be pre-planned (which is a perfect way to test any designs you need to trial for a wedding or special occasion) or spontaneously applied with client direction. Group appointments are a wonderful way to get together with friends – have a really nice night in talking, eating and getting your henna done.
Henna is an ornate and expressive art form; an ancient tradition that, within the world of media today, is becoming ever more utilised. Henna can be applied on location with body paint; traditional henna should be applied 2 days before a scheduled photo shoot unless the look of wet henna is required, in which case it should be applied on the day. Henna pattens can provide a spectacular accessory to embellish the showcase of any collection. We design our patterns to complement each collection on an individual basis to ensure our work is as unique as the fashion being displayed. We also offer our services to those who need henna for a live performance, whether that is a play or dance recital.
Any simple patterns/elements of more intricate patterns that have been designed and applied for you can be digitised by us for a small added fee. Digitising your henna designs is a useful way to present design choices to a project manager; digital henna can also be used to add a little something extra to enhance magazine spreads, brochures, invitations, show programmes and even blogs. Digitising henna is the process of turning a henna pattern into a vector image, vector images are a scaleable type of graphic which makes it a suitable file format for most projects – other image file types are available on request.
It is our process, when being contracted by media clients, to offer an initial face-to-face consultation to talk through the project brief and design style required. Alternatively, if a client knows the design style they require for their project and already has a detailed brief, this information can be emailed directly to us and we can answer any initial questions. A design meeting can then be arranged where we will present our drawn out designs. If a client prefers this stage can also be done electronically; we will scan in designs, send them over for feedback and amend them as we are instructed.
We value our client relationships and company reputation so we make a point of being accessible to our clients. You will always deal with the henna artist working on your media project personally; we are available at all working hours by telephone. Emails are responded to within a day and we are flexible with in-person meetings.
